let's guess with summary......
word for word translation, especially with English and Korean, is not an easy task. verbs are in different meanings with tense and for Korean, they use different terms when it is addressed to one's superior and his or her inferior.
and Passives aren't an usual form in Korean unless it is translated i.e. most passive forms are come from other language, and now it is getting usual things as international interactions grow larger.
